H-280 helmet applications
The H-280 is a well-established helmet in the German Army -Leopard II- and other national forces.
It is used in tracked vehicles and in vehicles with a high noise environment.
The illustrated variant of the H-280 has a lightweight interior textile that replaces the usual leather cover.
A ballistic shell can be attached to this textile protection.
The shell offers ballistic protection when the soldier walks out of the vehicle and can be provided in different ballistic grades.
