INTERCOM SYSTEMS

For more than 70 years, ELNO has produced Intercom Systems intended to improve communication on board noisy vehicles.

ELNO has broad experience in the installation and use of this type of equipment and can supply a complete system including the headsets.

Its team of engineers will be pleased to assist you in the definition of an installation optimized for your vehicle.

This Intercom is a cost-effective solution to improve communication in Light Armoured Vehicles

The system allows for conference communication between 3 operators and the use of 2 radio sets.

It consists of a Central Box installed on the console of the driving cab and an Operator Box installed in the rear compartment.

Switches, laid out on two opposite faces of the Central Box and on the Operator Box, enable each user to choose a communication mode for the Radio and the Intercom.

An electronic device (VOX) automatically activates transmission of the Intercom, triggered by the operator's voice, whatever the noise level of the vehicle.

This Intercom System can be used with Active Noise Reduction helmets (ANR).

The small size of the units and their very simple wiring ensure perfect integration in small vehicles.

The INT 2500 Intercom System allows for conference communication between up to 7 operators and the use of up to 4 radio sets.

It consists of a fully digitally controlled Central Box and several Operator Boxes connected to each other by coaxial cables.

It is well adapted to turret vehicles, main battle tanks and command headquarters.

The communication mode can be selected individually on each Operator Box.

A VOX (Voice Operated Switch) automatically triggers transmission on the Intercom, by detecting the operator's voice, whatever the level of noise of the vehicle.

This Intercom System can be used with Active Noise Reduction helmets (ANR).

Loudspeakers can be connected to the installation.

An External Box manages the communications with the outside of the vehicle: external handset, communication between vehicles (copper or optical fibre links), remote communication, field telephones.

The system has built-in test which checks for correct operation on each start-up

A CAN bus interface can be added to transmit and receive alarm signals and maintenance data
